Who else is a dog person? I couldn’t imagine life without one – but that doesn’t mean that my dog doesn’t drive me crazy at times. When the fantastic RSPCA got in touch to ask me about my pet peeves, I wanted to share some of my dog’s unique quirks:
1. Stealing my bed
Do dogs ever sleep in their own bed? Meg doesn’t. Whatever I do, she will find a way to sneak onto my bed during the night. She doesn’t give me any space either; without fail, I wake up with her spread across the duvet like a princess. Although of course, I can’t help but feel a little bit smug that I’m her favourite…
2. Drinking my coffee
Meg loves coffee more than an Instagrammer on a Monday morning. If you leave a coffee cup unattended, she will swoop down and get that caffeine fix. I have to keep an eye on her when I need my morning coffee in case she gets there first – she’s hyper enough without the added caffeine!
3. Being terrified of parcels
Meg hates any kind of parcels or presents. The sound of wrapping paper, sellotape or tissue paper causes her to bark and then hide. Who knew Blogger Mail could be so terrifying?
Is my dog totally unique or do you have the same peeves with your pets? I’d love to hear your pet’s quirks – after all, as much as we love them, they can be a nightmare! Thanks to the RSPCA, however, we know that all of our pets will be looked after and protected whatever they get up to – they’re a charity who are close to my heart.
Disclaimer: This is not a sponsored post but Meg did receive some goodies from the RSCPA as a thank you for inspiring me to write this post!
